High on Humility

I’ve been working in Product for the past 7 years, while the engineers, designers, CEOs, marketing managers, and sales leaders I collaborate with have often spent 12-15 years mastering their fields.

Most people I work with know their roles inside out, far more than I do. That’s why it’s crucial to approach these relationships with humility, always eager to learn and give others the space to excel.

I’m not someone who needs to be right. I actively seek out people with better ideas than mine, because collaboration thrives when we create an environment where the best ideas rise to the surface.

That eagerness to learn and openness to collaboration have been some of my biggest strengths.

True collaboration is about understanding each other’s intentions and working in harmony to achieve shared goals. It’s the foundation of strong relationships, both in work and life, where everything moves in sync.

Leadership, for me, isn’t about exerting authority—it’s about empowering others to do their best work.

PS: There’s a lot of balance required with this approach as you advance in your career.
